The love of an exceptional place close to Marseille. The meeting of two enthusiasts, by their calanque, nature, the sea, photography and writing. The desire to bear witness, to share, to protect. Also the duty of memory. For all these reasons, the authors have been intensely involved. Not only for the so-called magical landscapes but also for the people who inhabit Sormiou, who bring it to life and give it a soul without which this calanque, which leaves no one indifferent, would only be a simple postcard. The authors, Henri Eskenazi, a great specialist in underwater photography and Cédric Tassan, photographer and creator of Éditions VTOPO, wanted to retrace their vision of this fabulous place seen from the inside, as a cabanonnier.
